Study: Excessive Adverse Events in Pregnancies Associated with COVID-19 Jabs

Simian Practicalist

A study by J.A. Thorp et al titled “Are COVID-19 Vaccines in Pregnancy as Safe and Effective as the Medical Industrial Complex Claim? Part I” published on 8 February 2025 reveals the grossly disproportionate number of adverse events (AEs) in pregnancies associated with COVID-19 “vaccines”.

The paper is 18 pages in total. The main text is about 14 pages.

The data was extracted from VAERS. The study period for the COVID-19 vaccine was 40 months (1 December 2020 – 26 April 2024) and for other vaccines was 412 months (1 January 1990 – 26 April 2024).

The number of AEs associated with COVID-19 vaccines (over 40 months) is compared to influenza vaccines (over 412 months), and all vaccines including influenza but excluding COVID-19 (over 412 months). Table 1 of the raw data is partially reproduced below.

The paper does present the proportional reporting ratios (PRRs) but one need not do the math to see the ridiculous numbers considering that the study period for COVID-19 vaccines is about one-tenth of the other vaccines.

The authors also discuss observations and concerns made by others, including the obvious lack of robust testing by Pfizer. All these points have been covered, even here on this website.

In short, as stated in the abstract:

We found unacceptably high breaches in safety signals for 37 AEs after COVID-19 vaccination in pregnant women. An immediate global moratorium on COVID-19 vaccination during pregnancy is warranted. The United States government, medical organizations, hospitals, and pharmaceutical companies have misled and/or deceived the public regarding the safety of COVID-19 vaccination in pregnancy. …
