I made comments regarding cases of Bell’s Palsy (with facial droop) as a result of the vaccine on 31 March 2021. At the time, there seemed to be few cases, or at least cases that were studied. In any case, to follow up, I checked the VAERS and EudraVigilance for reported cases of Bell’s Palsy as a result of the so-called vaccines.
US (as of 30 July 2021)
There are 3,156 cases of Bell’s Palsy, equivalent to 0.58% of reported adverse events. Although this is not the most popular, it is much closer to the top of the list than the bottom.
I am not sure if it is related or not, but there are also 3,357 cases of facial paralysis, equivalent to 0.62% of reported adverse events.
Europe (as of 6/7 August 2021)
Astrazeneca – 639 cases of Bell’s Palsy, equivalent to 0.18% of reported adverse events. There is 1 reported fatality.
Moderna – 1,146 cases of Bell’s Palsy, equivalent to 1.32% of reported adverse events.
Pfizer-Biontech (Tozinameran) – 1,399 cases of Bell’s Palsy, equivalent to 0.41% of reported adverse events.
