Philadelphia, PA – A man has been given a warning by the police after his “misuse” of the Violence Against Women Hotline.
After seeing a transwoman pummel a woman in the boxing ring on television, George, 44, decided to call the hotline.
“I knew calling 911 would be wrong cos that’s reserved for emergencies,” said George, “but I thought the hotline was appropriate.”
Police knocked on his door within five minutes. The officers verbally warned him that complaining about violence involving transgenders was “unacceptable in this case”.
When George later walked to the local liquor store to get himself some beer, a man entered with a knife and attempted to hold up the store.
George then knocked the man out cold with one punch. However, it turned out that it was a transman and George was detained for “sorta beating up sorta of a woman”.
“You just can’t frigging win,” George reportedly said.
