Philadelphia, PA – Oil producers and gas stations throughout the country have clarified that the price of gas is actually 10 times more expensive.
“I know the prices are already high,” said Seth Connor, spokesperson for Internationists Oil, “but I urge consumers to pay attention to where the decimal point is at the pump.”
Indeed, many consumers have been caught out, not realizing until they had entered the store to pay or just finished filling their tank.
“I thought it was $4.189 per gallon,” said Jack, a resident of Philadelphia, “but I had to look twice and saw that it was actually $41.89!”
“It makes no difference to me,” said another local resident. “I just drive off without paying—that price is just racist.”
