Washington DC – Barely two weeks after President Trump has re-taken office, the deep state is desperate to turn things around.
Realizing their current playbook is just old, they are hoping to rip off one from the Kansas City Chiefs.
“I’m sure the Chiefs have a decent playbook for the Superbowl,” said one DNC staffer. “We’re getting blitzed every day with a flurry of executive orders. We got plenty of fat people, but they can’t block any of it.”
“We got no quarterback,” said a former USAID employee. “Whoever we got is trying the quick slant almost every time, and that’s just not gonna work.”
Some elements of the military, however, still favor the drag route with the occasional whip route. The latter, however, requires receivers who actually have some skill.
Most are concerned that the deep state will attempt a Hail Mary regardless of their personnel.
A member of the Chiefs coaching staff, speaking on the condition of anonymity, said that he is not aware of any requests to see their playbook. “I’m pretty sure no one on our team will agree to it and besides, the best play is to reach an understanding with the officials.”
