Los Angeles, CA – A middle-class Asian man is really feeling the rising cost of living.
“Yeah, the gas went up and the veggies goes up and down as usual so on balance it didn’t really bother me at first,” said the man.
However, upon entering the local Asian grocery store last week, he gawked at some of the prices.
“I don’t even know what the CPI is nowadays,” said the man, “but my CPI is the 4-pack Shin Ramyun and spring onions and that just went by 153 percent!”
